Dear Reader,
My name is Maayan Keynan, and I'm an activist for social-equality.
I am a forty years old single mom from Israel, which may shed some light on the ideology I am trying to communicate.
I believe that everyone is entitled for a peaceful life, meaning life that doesn't make you regret it or celebrate it too much. I believe this balance is the key for happiness, which I believe everyone deserves.
Searching for happiness highlights the fact that there are too many people that experience unhappiness. But the bigger problem is that it leads to the field of social status, and I think we should categorize that as a symptom of social inequality and thrive to change the mechanism that generates the correlation between social inequality and happiness.
I want to form a society that doesn’t correlate happiness with inequality.
The practice that I am using to do that, is something I call Open Source Living, since it incorporates the Open Source Model in the daily routines of life, while lowering consumption, and encouraging diversity of interests and usage of advanced technologies.
Combined with dissolving competitiveness, this practice is suitable for Basic Income programs, and will encourage returning to roots, and peaceful living.
Furthermore, this practice is suitable for the Fourth Industrial Revolution, as it’s aiming to improve the Nature in Human-Nature, and therefore aligned with principles that are in the base of the 4IR.
Involving personality aspects, especially self-growth related, Open Source Life considers each person in the society as a provider-obtainer unit, and enables the formation of mutual affinity between the group and the individual, therefore induces balance between the individuals of the group, including the sense of equal worth and protection.
I work to develop that, and I invite you to join me in the Trial & Error of forming a society that focuses on benefiting its individuals prior to the group, out of believing that this is the only way for achieving personal happiness, and that it comes before society’s happiness.
Visit my website to learn more about Personal Equality, and to take action in forming a society based on your personality, and not the other way around.
Check out the sources and resources, use what you need, and contribute what you can.
Sincerely yours,
Maayan Keynan
